ascendant vierge is a new Brussels-based duo of goth-pop singer-songwriter Mathilde Fernandez and DJ-producer Paul Seul, also known as co-founder of the collective Casual Gabberz. In astrology, the virgo ascendant is known for its prudence. This sounds pretty ironic as debut single ‘Influenceur’ is a flamboyant song driven by a hard pounding fast gabber beat and Fernandez' otherworldly, operatic singing. After several singles the duo released their debut mini album ‘Vierge’ in October 2020.

In astrologie staat de maagd ascendant bekend om diens voorzichtigheid. Dat klinkt nogal ironisch, want debuutsingle ‘Influenceur’ is juist een flamboyante song, gedreven door een hard hamerende, snelle gabberbeat en Fernandez’ buitenaardse operazang. Na een serie singles bracht het duo in oktober 2020 hun debuutalbum ‘Vierge’ uit.
